Ege University Hosted an Orientation Meeting for Students from the Turkic World
The Ege University Office of International Relations held an orientation meeting for students who will be studying at our university during the fall semester of the 2026–2027 academic year as part of the Orhun Exchange Program and bilateral cooperation agreements.
Chaired by Dr. Ebru Kabakçı, Assistant Coordinator of International Relations, the meeting featured a comprehensive informational presentation by Sermin Kıra, Coordinator of the Orhun Exchange Program, for 48 students from the Turkic Republics. The presentation covered Ege University’s institutional culture, campus facilities, academic processes, and life in Izmir.
At the gathering, which highlighted Ege University’s vision for internationalization—a university that places great importance on strengthening academic and cultural ties with the Turkic world—the students expressed their joy at joining the Ege University family.
The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session and a group photo taken to commemorate the occasion.
